The prduoct description says this battery will work fine with Traxxas XL-5 models. Five minutes into my first run with this battery it blew my Bandit's motor. I carried it up to Tower Hobbies just to make sure, and the store's owner said that the 9.6v of this battery is what did it. It works great with the brushless VXL version, but of course I had to shell out $185.00 to upgrade my car just so I could use this battery.Quick update: I contacted the seller and they could not have been more gracious. They understood my problem and went an extra 10 miles to rectify it. I've gone from having a terrible opinion of their company to becoming someone who will definately buy from them again.
